​ ​Roger Lee Arts, LLC (formerly Roger Lee Dance, LLC) was founded in 2012 by Roger Lee. The business was created to produce dance. In 2013, the business was named a Finalist in the KYW Small Business Challenge. In 2015, the business changed its name to reflect its expansion into producing dance, paintings, and artist career advice.
 Roger Lee Dance Company was founded in 2012 by Roger Lee. The professional contemporary jazz dance company was created to present the choreographic works of Roger Lee. Since its 2012 debut, the company has presented 20 of its own concert series and three of its own tours, performed at large public events including the 2024 6abc Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade (live national television special), the 2016 Democratic National Convention, the 2016 WaWa Welcome America Festival, and the 2016 and 2015 Philadanco Founder's Day Concerts, and been featured by popular media outlets including 6abc Loves the Arts (local television segment), CBS 3, The Huffington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Magazine, South Philly Review, Broad Street Review, thINKingDANCE, The Dance Journal, and The City Pulse. Since 2015, the company has been in residence at Philadanco Studios. In 2015, the company was named a Semi-Finalist for RAW Artists' National Performing Art Award.
Roger Lee is the Founder and CEO of Roger Lee Arts, LLC (est. 2012), the Founder and Artistic Director of Roger Lee Dance Company (est. 2012), and a professional painter, choreographer, and dancer. He held consulting, administrative, and teaching positions at non-profit organizations, universities, and K-12 schools. The impact of his professional and volunteer work resulted in a TEDx Talk, over 80 international, national, regional, and local media features, and over 10 honors and awards. Roger earned degrees in Arts Administration (M.S.), Dance (B.A.), and Media and Communication Studies (B.A.) and certificates in Leadership and Negotiations.
